a couple days ago we finally received the V60 (with awesome sport seats) and an S60 both with the new T "5" 4 cyl turbo.
I'll grab the keys and take them for a spin later later along with that E63 AMG S, V12 Vantage S, and our only 2014 Evora S. So many "S" :]

if i do an official oppo review, it will be of the R-design that we have on order. I don't think you dudes would like my review on the V12 Vantage S, it's just not good in my eyes. That E63 AMG S on the other hand, what a monster :]

biggest one I heard was price. If they put that thing out the door at even 60K I know 4 people in maine that would buy it tomorrow. The price argument doesnt hold water. I think because diesel is part of the mix, they see it as too big a risk

This V60 is just a T5 FWD but is LOADED with some badass options. The sticker has it at $45K

I imagine it will be expensive to get it past the US bureaucrats, which prohibits so many manufacturers from offering vehicles in the US that are expected to only sell in relatively small numbers.
edit: in Germany a V60 D6 (diesel) plugin hybrid starts at 59k, which is almost double the price of a V60 D2 (base diesel) which starts at 30k. I will have to add this is including 20% VAT, so before taxes that would be 49k for the D6 plugin hybrid and 25k for the D2. That's $67k and $34k respectively. Do keep in mind that cars, even German cars, are cheaper in the US than in Germany, even before taxes.
